We are a locally owned Outdoor Store and RV and Marine dealership with over 14 years in the service business. We have an exceptional reputation and enjoy a family style atmosphere of hard work and fun! We are looking for someone with a like-nature to grow with us. In this opening, we are looking for someone who has experience and drive in leading and assisting a team to oversee the work of RV and Marine techs; and coordinate the incoming workflow. This person would also assist with service intake and customer communications. This position would also be responsible assisting in the hiring, training and management of the tech staff. A general working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical; combined with a mechanical aptitude is necessary. Experience in RV or Marine is also preferred. It is expected that the right candidate will need to assist in the shop area as a working lead initially to strengthen personal knowledge of our specialty field and earn the respect of the team. However, the primary goal of posting this position is to bring someone in who we will be able to place into a service manager position; overseeing the service department, parts department and warranty department. Required Job Skills: Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team to meet or exceed business goals General carpentry, plumbing and electrical experience, as well as a strong mechanical aptitudeexperience. RV or Marine service preferred Solid trouble-shooting skills Experience managing the coordination of work in a quality and timely manner Solid computer system ability and awareness, ability to type Ability to communicate with customers as well as internal staff. Verbal and Written(email) Ability to follow company policies and procedures and implement those to a growing staff A valid driver's license is required General responsibilities for this position include: Daily monitoring of service production Coordination of job assignments Helping train new technicians Reporting daily progress and issues to General Manager Applicants must have: Honesty and authenticity Great work ethic A heart for customer service Desire to work in a clean, friendly family-type environment The ability to motivate and lead Problem solving abilities Team player mentality
